Tramonti

Set among the Lattari Mountains and composed of 13 villages, Tramonti is the green lung of the Amalfi coast. It was probably founded by the Picentinis and, during the Middle Ages, was part of the possession of the Duchy of Amalfi.

The name of Tramonti is linked to some of the most delicious products of this land, such as pizza, fior di latte and wine. Native vines (tintore, piedirosso, falanghina and biancolella) are cultivated on terraced gardens set on steep slopes, between 300 and 500 meters a.s.l.
